This page shows some frequently asked questions about your visit, which we want to make an enjoyable occasion. All of the management and exhibitors on the show ground are waiting to welcome you and your family to the Bridgend Country Show.
Life can be full of questions, so we have compiled some of the frequently asked questions about your visit so your visit as relaxed as you would wish yourself.
The show is open from 10am until 5pm on each of the 2 days, Saturday and Sunday
We welcome dogs along to the Bridgend Country Show, as long as they’re kept on fixed leads.
Dogs are welcome across the show field, however they are not allowed in any marquee that has animals, such as the Goats, Rabbits, Poultry etc and not allowed into any tent or marquee where food is being served or sold.
Please ensure you clean up after your dog!
Bridgend Country Show takes all reasonable precautions to protect its visitors and with visitor safety being our number one priority.
We have robust event management and contingency plans which cover a vast number of different scenarios with all officials being updated on a daily basis.
Police officers will also be making their presence known.
You too can help us by:
- Not driving on the show field whatsoever between 9.30am and 5pm daily
- Only keeping vehicles on the show field that display a pass.
- By reporting anything suspicious to, the police, a steward or Showground staff member.
- By complying swiftly with any requests from stewards or staff member.
We sincerely hope that you will enjoy your visit but understand that unforeseen issues can arise.
Paramedics are always available during the show opening hours and longer if the equestrian events are over running. Their tent is alongside the Horse Showing Arena.
The food Court area is where you will find a host of concessions selling food and drink including a public bar area.
You may also buy food from those exhibitors in the Food Marquee as well as from the Members Marquee.
Picnic facilities are within the Food Court Area.
