We have compiled some of the frequently asked questions about the show, but if you don’t find the answer you’re looking for, please get in touch via the details on the contact page.

 

  • When is the show? The Show is on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July 2024.
  • What are the opening times?  The show is open from 10am until 5pm on both days.
  • Where is it? We have moved back into the Bridgend Borough – you can find the address along with the Google Maps pinpoint on the ‘Home‘ and ‘Finding the Showground‘ pages. 
  • Can I bring my dog?  We welcome dogs along to the Bridgend Country Show as long as they’re kept on fixed leads at all times, however, they must not enter any marquee that has animals, or any tent or marquee where food is being served or sold. Please ensure you clean up after them too!
  • Is the event family friendly? Of course! Whether you’re flying solo or bringing the whole gang, Bridgend Country Show is for everybody! We take all reasonable precautions to protect our visitors, with your safety being our number one priority.
  • What happens if I need help? We have robust event management and contingency plans which cover a vast number of different scenarios with all officials being updated on a daily basis. There will always be somebody on hand to help.

You too can help us by:

  • Not driving on the show field whatsoever between 9.30am and 5pm daily
  • Only keeping vehicles on the show field that display a pass.
  • By reporting anything suspicious to, the police, a steward or Showground staff member.
  • By complying swiftly with any requests from stewards or staff member.

We sincerely hope that you will enjoy your visit but we understand that unforeseen issues can arise; Paramedics are always available during the show opening hours, and longer if the equestrian events are delayed. Their tent can be found alongside the Horse Showing Arena.
